A new range of self-fixing sewer sealing cushions for pipe diameters from 80mm to 2800mm.

LAMPE sewer sealing cushions are significantly different in design to traditional inflatable pipe stoppers. Unlike traditional pipe stoppers which have to expand to seal the pipe, LAMPE cushions make full contact with the pipe wall at a very low pressure (0.01 bar). When fully inflated to their working pressure of 1.0 bar, the cushions are so secure in the pipe that they require no bracing against movement.

If a loss of pressure should occur, the LAMPE sewer sealing cushion will soften but remain in full contact with the pipe wall. Any accumulated head of water behind the sewer cushion will drain away underneath the cushion along the bottom of the pipe. Typically, when expanding inflatable pipe stoppers lose pressure, contact is lost with the pipe wall and any back pressure will force the stopper down the pipe if it is not securely braced.

These lightweight sewer sealing cushions can be used in a wide variety of pipe profiles including egg shaped and rectangular channels and each cushion will seal a range of pipe diameters.
