When stopping a flow is not possible in a pipe, drain or sewer a Sava pipe stopper (also referred to as a bag, bung or plug) with a bypass or flume can be used. 50, 100,150 and 200mm Bauer couplings allow hose to be connected to the pipe stopper taking the flow above ground via pump or by gravity through the area of work.

Controlling a flow from a pipe by fluming and bypassing?

Use the Standard bypass stopper range!The Sava Standard stoppers have a wide range of Bauer couplings to which layflat or delivery hose can be connected for bypassing and flu ming the flow from a pipe. Alternatively, suction hose can be connected to the stopper for over pumping operations.

Testing a pipeline with water?

Use the Standard blank and bypass stoppers or Plugy and Plugsy range ! To test up to 0.5 bar (5 metre head) use the Standard blank and bypass stopper range and to test up to 1.0 bar (10 metre head) use the Plugy and Plugsy stopper range.
